Well we had a quiet weekend as Ben was still getting over the viris he had. He woke up early on Sunday morning and daddy took him out for a ride so I could get back to sleep (lovely it was)
He came back full of it! "Mummy seen yellow boat", "Mummy threw pebble in sea"
"Been with daddy in the car for ride"
We spent the rest of the day just playing as daddy decided to do some DIY (!) mummy stayed well out of the way!!
Ben is potty training at the moment so is quite interested in bodily functions!! He shouts "Oh no quick sit down on potty" when he needs to go.
Hes doing well we've only had a few accidents including one where the dog ate it but we won't go into that!!
His favourite word of the week is Hello. Up until now its been mainly hiya that he has used. The thing that makes me laugh is that he says it with a really cut glass accent which I have no idea where that has come from.
He is also telling his toys of in the same tone I use which is very funny to hear. His favourite toy this week is his postman pat van complete with figures of Pat and Jess.
He keeps saying "No Pat sit down in chair" "No Pat... no sweeties thats naughty Pat"
And apparently Jess is not allowed to drive postman pats van as that is naughty too.
Actually Im a bit fed up of a 2 year old telling me what to do. "Leave it mummy" which is pronounced "Weeve" and "No mummy not yours Bens!"
Hes also climbing like a monkey and when he gets stuck shouts "Help" except he is missing the "p" off so its being pronounced "Hell!" hmmmm perhaps a more appropriate term at times......
