Well yesterday was Thursday - Mums and toddlers day. We woke up not too early for a change and had a shower. Bens calls it a Show Show and he loves it. We keep all the empty shampoo and shower gel bottles which he fills with water and tips out all over the place.
He always screams when I switch the shower off "Show show back onnnnn!!"
Then we had breakfast .... Hes into dippy eggs at the moment. You know soft boiled eggs with bread soldiers.
Trouble is he wants everyone to have dippy eggs!! So mummy has to have dippy eggs too and daddy when he is home in a morning which is usually only Sundays as hes out to work at 4am.
So we were sat having our eggs and Ben said to me in a really deep voice... "Mind fingers mummy.... HOT!"
which made me laugh
We then got to playgroup - mums and tots. I had had to ring up and check that it was open as they had had flash floods in the town the day before and the infant school which is next door was closed as it had been flooded anyhow it was open.
Playgroup can sometimes cause problems as he can get very clingy and for some reason wants to go as soon as we get there. I check that he wants to go and he wants to until we get there and then he doesnt want to go in.
Yesterday he was great. No problems at all. When we got in he decided to paint again no problems.... in fact he was really good all morning listening to the story and singing and doing the actions nicely.
so all in all not a bad morning.
The afternoon was ok too - pretty non eventful really we did manage to get out in the garden for a short while.
Today? well its a bit dull outside so it remains to be seen whether we will get outside today. We have spent the morning so far playing with postman pats van and bob the builder toys. When Bob got into postman pats van it caused a lot of merriment from Ben
havent got anything planned for thec weekend thus far so we shall see what it brings
